Problem 1

Dianna wants to conduct a survey on the opinions of UCLA students on the new Carl's Jr. opening on campus. She decides to go through her phone book and do a phone survey of her friends and acquaintances. What is she doing wrong?

  • Choose one answer.
(a) She is doing nothing wrong.
(b) She would need a sample of at least 200. She can't possibly have that many friends.
