SOCR Normal Power Analysis Activity: Look for Z-Score and P-Value, Background
Lots of time we're given a normal distribution with some mean and standard deviation. Then we're given some point X and asked to look for the Z-Score of this X on this given normal distribution. We might be asked to find the probability (area) of having a value greater than or less than this particular X. For more information, see [Z-Test].

1. Click on SELECT PARAMETER. Be sure that the box Z-Score and P-Value is clicked. Have all the fields filled out.
2. Click on RESULT to see the result.
