SOCR Project - SOCR HTML5 Resource Navigator Project

Project goals

The goal of this project is to redesign, transform and upgrade the SOCR Hyperbolic Tree and Wheel Resource Navigators from Java to a modern platform- and browser-independent HTML5/JavaScript framework.

Project Description

Approach

  • Use the following (current) XML format/syntax/examples as (graph, node/edge) input data (e.g., NSF, NIF, mathGenealogy, NISER)
  • Use this D3 example. Modify the input data format to consume our XML structure and test with some of the SOCR examples above.
